One of the major difficulties for decision makers is the monitoring of weather conditions occurred because the network of surface stations is inadequate and poorly distributed and not always the data is available. The precipitation estimates from satellite images, due to its excellent spatial and temporal coverage, it can present itself as the sole source of rainfall data representative of a particular area. This study aimed to propose a comparison of data to arrive at a final product quality, and might perhaps say that the method is suitable for studying certain locality and thus try to draw a profile of precipitation.The results of this study will show that precipitation in GPI method, were pretty well accepted when compared to the automatic station. However with some deficiencies that will be shown throughout the paper. |
