And, as a general objective: To understand the vision that the students of the EJA have on the classes of Physical Education, considering the methods and spaces used. The research is characterized as a qualitative approach, using the field research at the Cônego Leitão State School of the city of Castanhal-PA. The research was carried out with 23 students participating in the Education of Young and Adults aged 18 to 38 years (mean age 23.22). The data were collected through a semi-structured questionnaire and were analyzed considering the study of the content. This study demonstrated through the students' responses the reality of how Physical Education classes occur in the EJA modality. We verified the main difficulties presented, and the most recurrent one is the lack of adequate space for the practical classes, being pointed out the need of space and resources so that it can properly develop the practical classes and providing the students with a better development educational. O presente estudo “práticas pedagógicas da educação física na educação de jovens e adultos na escola cônego leitão em castanhal-PA”, tem como objetivo geral: Compreender a elaboração das aulas de Educação Física, considerando os métodos e espaços utilizados. A pesquisa se caracteriza como uma abordagem qualitativa, utilizando a pesquisa de campo realizada na Escola Estadual Cônego Leitão da cidade de Castanhal-PA. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida junto a 23 estudantes que participam da Educação de Jovens e Adultos com idade entre 18 a 38 anos (média de idade 23,22). Os dados foram coletados por meio de um questionário semiestruturado e foram analisados considerando o estudo do conteúdo. Este estudo demonstrou através das respostas dos estudantes a realidade de como que ocorrem as aulas de Educação Física na modalidade da EJA.
