In this sense, we sought to identify the logic that takes place in the recognition of an institutionalized cultural property and its potential consumption, while symbolic representation, in order to attract public; generate resources; and its relationship with the individual consumer of a culture characterized by symbols that pose be triggered as memory and identity elements. Therefore, we implemented, as a methodology for the development of research: exploratory observation; the application of a questionnaire in on-mode and via the web; consultation documents in IPHAN file; bibliographical study in works from different areas of knowledge with emphasis on museological theory, the cultural heritage and the concepts of consumption. Esta pesquisa se dedicou em desenvolver um trabalho no e sobre o Cemitério da Soledade, que teve por objetivo levantar dados junto à sociedade belenense, cujas interpretações permitam a indicação de elementos substanciados que possam contribuir na composição de propostas às políticas de uso do espaço cemiterial, entendido como patrimônio cultural institucionalizado, além de identificar e compreender quais as relações estabelecidas entre os públicos que usufruem do espaço cemiterial. Neste sentido, se buscou identificar a lógica que se processa no reconhecimento de um bem cultural institucionalizado e seu potencial de consumo, enquanto representação simbólica, no sentido de atrair público; gerar recursos; e suas relações com o individuo consumidor de uma cultura caracterizada por símbolos que posam ser acionados como elementos de memória e identidade. Para tanto foram efetivadas, como metodologia para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa: a observação exploratória; a aplicação de um questionário nos modos presenciais e via web; consulta em documentos no arquivo do IPHAN; estudo bibliográfico em obras de diferentes áreas do conhecimento com ênfase na teoria museológica, no patrimônio cultural e nos conceitos sobre consumo. 2019-10-08T13:53:37Z 2019-10-08T13:53:37Z 2014-01-06 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação SOUZA, Afonso Maria de Ligório Souza.
