The Murutucu Mill dates back from the early eighteenth century and represents an important part of the history of colonization of the Amazon, as well as the economic and industrial system - sugar cane industry - that supported it in the Amazon estuary region and left in their material culture brands of that historic step. The methodology included a review of data from the site and bibliography of works relating to the theme of both the interface as musealization Museology- Archaeology, thinking through the form of contribution of processes applied to archeology museum and taking reference to the study authors who think potentiality and process of musealization as a form of preservation and socialization of archaeological sites. In conclusion, the results of this research seek to serve for a proposal of a project of musealization in loco, understanding that this process can somehow solve the problem of socialization and preservation, as it involves the administration, safeguarding, communication and dissemination of the museum collections and the site itself, having in mind that this process is gradual and, since they must be evaluated in a number of specialties because they require measures that go beyond access to cultural and physical spaces, it is necessary to consider measures that require effective and ongoing partnerships with institutions and especially funding for the implementation of the project. Este trabalho objetivou apresentar o estudo das potencialidades de musealização de sítios arqueológicos, tendo como foco o sítio de Engenho Colonial para a elaboração de uma proposta de musealização e socialização in loco, à luz da interdisciplinaridade da Arqueologia com a Museologia, no que concerne aos processos museológicos que incluem, salvaguarda, comunicação, documentação e socialização do patrimônio. O Engenho Murutucu data do início do século XVIII e representa uma importante parte do passado de colonização da Amazônia, bem como o sistema econômico e industrial (agroindústria canavieira) que subsidiou a economia açucareira na região do estuário amazônico e deixou em sua cultura material marcas desse passo histórico. A metodologia utilizada compreendeu uma revisão de dados do sítio em questão e levantamento bibliográfico de obras relativas tanto ao tema da musealização quanto a interface Museologia-Arqueologia, pensando na forma de contribuição dos processos museológicos aplicados à arqueologia e tomando referência de autores que direcionassem ao estudo da potencialidade e processo de musealização, como forma de preservação e socialização de sítios arqueológicos. Concluindo os resultados desta pesquisa buscam servir para uma proposta de projeto de musealização in loco, entendendo que este processo pode, de alguma forma solucionar o problema da socialização e preservação, pois envolve a administração, salvaguarda, comunicação e divulgação do acervo e do sítio. Compreendendo sempre que esse processo é e gradual, visto que estas medidas devem ser avaliadas num conjunto de especialidades, pois requerem medidas que vão além de acesso aos bens culturais e dos espaços físicos, é necessário pensar em medidas efetivas e continuadas que necessitam de parcerias com instituições e principalmente de verba para a concretização do projeto. 2019-10-16T17:00:30Z 2019-10-16T17:00:30Z 2013 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação GUSMÃO, Raiza Cristina dos Santos.
