Method: This research used the method of Integrative Literature Review, through the search in specialized databases of VHL and Multidisciplinary Web of Science in the following indexers: LILACS; MEDLIDE and SCIELO. The following descriptors (DeCS) were defined: zika virus; microcephaly; nursing. We used the Boolean operator AND in the Portuguese and English languages on the subject proposed for study. Results: The sample of this study was composed of 23 national publications and 25 international ones, and after exhaustive reading, thorough analysis and categorization of the articles, three categories were identified: "How is the passage of the virus through the placenta. "," The Teratogenic Consequences Related to Zika Virus Exposure "and" The Importance of Nurses for Reducing Diseases. " Conclusion: Considering the growth of the cases of microcephaly associated with the congenital syndrome of the Zika virus and its increasingly alarming aggravation, nursing plays an extremely important role, which aims to offer the user a quality nursing care based on Law no. 7.498 / 96 in the Code of Ethics of Nursing Professionals, aiming to ensure continuity of care at all levels of care. However, it is essential that nurses have the desired technical and scientific skills to provide adequate care, and a relationship based on respect and trust for the user is essential to provide comfort and safety. The results of this research show that, although there is an increasing number of studies proving the association of the Zika virus in the gestational period with microcephaly, there is still a need for more studies especially in nursing, where little has been present at the core of the scientific society as well as was not observed enough scientific production on the work process and nursing actions in face of this aggravation. Objetivo: O presente estudo tem como objetivo compreender o mecanismo pelo qual o Zika vírus atravessa a barreira hematoplacentária, entender a relação do vírus e sua predileção pelas células do Sistema Nervoso Central, descrever os agravos neurológicos causados pela Síndrome Congênita do Zika Vírus e discutir o papel do enfermeiro frente ao novo panorama nacional. Método: Esta pesquisa utilizou o método de Revisão Integrativa de Literatura, por meio da busca em bases de dados especializada BVS e Multidisciplinares Web of Science nos seguintes indexadores: LILACS; MEDLIDE e SCIELO. Foram definidos os seguintes descritores (DeCS): zika vírus; microcefalia; enfermagem. Utilizamos o operador booleano AND nas Línguas portuguesa e Inglesa sobre o tema proposto para estudo. O recorte temporal dos últimos 04 anos a partir de 2015. Resultados: A amostra deste estudo foi composta por 23 Publicações nacionais e 25 internacionais, e após a leitura exaustiva, análise minuciosa e categorização dos artigos foram identificadas três categorias: “Como se dá a passagem do vírus através da placenta.”, “As Consequências Teratogênicas Relacionadas à exposição ao vírus zika.” e “A importância do enfermeiro para redução dos agravos”. Conclusão: Levando em consideração o crescimento dos casos de microcefalia associados à síndrome congênita do Zika vírus e seu agravamento cada vez mais alarmante, a enfermagem possui um papel de extrema importância, que visa oferecer ao usuário uma assistência de enfermagem com qualidade fundamentada na Lei nº 7.498/96 presente no Código de Ética dos Profissionais de Enfermagem, visando assim garantir a continuidade do cuidado em todos os níveis de atenção. Todavia, é essencial que o enfermeiro possua as competências técnico-científicas desejadas para poder prestar uma assistência adequada, sendo imprescindível uma relação pautada em respeito e confiança para com o usuário com o intuito de proporcionar-lhe conforto e segurança. Os resultados desta pesquisa mostram que, embora existam cada vez mais estudos comprovando a associação do Zika vírus no período gestacional com a microcefalia, ainda há a necessidade de mais estudos especialmente pela enfermagem, onde se tem feito pouco presente no âmago da sociedade cientifica, bem como não foi observada produção cientifica suficientemente relevante sobre o processo de trabalho e ações da enfermagem perante a esse agravo. 2020-02-14T16:41:55Z 2020-02-14T16:41:55Z 2019-07-11 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação SILVA, Risângela Patrícia de Freitas Pantoja da.
