This research intends to analyze the production of journalism and the scientific dissemination in the Amazon from the work of the journalists who work in local newspaper essays. For this, a bibliographical survey was initially made to understand, in theory, the studied subject. Subsequently, field observation was carried out in two large print newspapers in Amazonia and, finally, questionnaires were applied on the routine of communicators who work or have already worked on essays, in order to determine the main obstacles, in the opinion of journalists, during the production of scientific content for the newspapers. Fifty-one interviews were conducted with 10 questions, whose analysis has resulted in significant issues that may contribute in the future to overcome the difficulties faced by journalists and to improve scientific dissemination in the Amazon.
