Oral that seeks through oral sources the production of documents, as well as studies of Memory, triggering authors who produce on the subject such as: Ferreira (2006); Bosi (2003); Freitas (2006) among others, and assisting with the Historiography of the Theater in Pará I call Bezerra (2013); Salles (1994) and Jansen (2009) these authors have valuable contributions to the historiography of Pará theater. The Grotto is one of the oldest theater groups still active in the state of Pará. The Grotto is a school and continues to produce theater. O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso tem como objetivo registrar cronologicamente a história do Grupo Gruta de Teatro e se propõe a produzir uma análise sobre a sua trajetória artística e suas contribuições para a história do teatro produzida no Estado do Pará. Tendo como metodologia a História Oral que busca através das fontes orais a produção de documentos, bem como os estudos da Memória, acionando autores que produzem sobre o assunto tais como: Ferreira (2006); Bosi (2003); Freitas (2006) entre outros, e auxiliando com a Historiografia do teatro no Pará convoco Bezerra (2013); Salles (1994) e Jansen (2009) esses autores possuem valorosas contribuições para a historiografia do teatro paraense. O Gruta é um dos mais antigos grupos de teatro no estado.
