This being responsible for building and understanding the knowledge of teachers and students about their daily lives. the research began in the III supervised internship offered by the Licentiate Course in Rural Education, with emphasis on natural sciences, at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), at the Dorothy Stang Rural Family House Community School – Anapu- Pará, with a class of the 3rd year of high school integrated with the agricultural technician course. The methodology used to carry out the internship was divided into two stages: observation of the biology teacher and conducting, where the problem of studying genetics through play arose. During the internship, it was noticed that the teacher works her subject in a contextualized way, where she is concerned with student learning, always trying to teach the contents with some connection with reality and in an interdisciplinary way. While for the development and application of the playful activity that complements some basic concepts of genetics, it aimed to establish relationships between scientific, popular knowledge and playfulness, an activity known as Mr. and Mrs Potato, inspired by the characters in the movie Toy Story. At the end, the progress of the genetic content by the students was observed, because through the playful activity they managed to relate scientific terms with our physical characteristics. Esta monografia visa identificar as contribuições de uma ferramenta lúdica, onde a mesma pode proporcionar subsídios/ reforços para a aprendizagem do ensino de biologia. Sendo essa responsável pela construção e compreensão dos conhecimentos de professor e aluno sobre seus cotidianos. a pesquisa foi iniciada no III estágio supervisionado ofertado pelo curso de Licenciatura em Educação do Campo ênfase em ciências da natureza, da Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA), na Escola Comunitária Casa familiar Rural Dorothy Stang – Anapu- Pará, com uma turma do 3º ano do ensino médio integrado com o curso de técnico em agropecuária. A metodologia utilizada para a realização do estágio foi dividida em dois momentos: observação da professora de biologia e regência, onde surgiu-se a problemática de estudar genética por meio do lúdico. Durante o estágio foi percebido que a professora trabalha sua disciplina de forma contextualizada, onde a mesma possui uma preocupação com o aprendizado do aluno, procurando sempre ensinar os conteúdos com alguma conexão com a realidade e de forma interdisciplinar. Já enquanto a elaboração e aplicação da atividade lúdica complementar de alguns conceitos básicos de genética, a mesma visou estabelecer relações entre o conhecimento científico, popular e a ludicidade, atividade essa conhecida como Senhor e Senhora Batata, inspirado nos personagens do filme Toy Story.
