The objective is to reflect on the notion of sustainability present in the curriculum component History of the Curriculum Document of the Municipality of Abaetetuba/DCMA and analyze whether the selected knowledge contributes to the formation of environmental awareness in elementary school. As a theoretical guideline for the construction of this work, authors who deal with themes adjacent to what was explained were used, such as Reigota (1998), Carvalho (2001), Pacheco (2001), Santos (2009). As a result, we were able to identify and infer that: 1 - the content on the sustainability of the DCMA History curriculum component for elementary education is limited because there is only one content to be worked on from the 1st to the 5th year, 2 - this content on sustainability does not seem to be enough for real awareness of the environment, 3 - the training project needs to focus on school experiences that involve school knowledge, aiming at sustainability and environmental awareness, to protect society and the environment. O presente trabalho trata de um estudo documental sobre o Documento Curricular do Município de Abaetetuba/DCMA, discutindo sobre sustentabilidade e a formação da consciência ambiental presente no componente curricular história. Como objetivo temos a refletir sobre a noção de sustentabilidade presente no componente curricular História do Documento Curricular do Município de Abaetetuba/DCMA e analisar se os conhecimentos selecionados contribuem para a formação da consciência ambiental no ensino fundamental. Como norte teórico para a construção desse trabalho foram utilizados os autores que tratam dos temas adjacentes ao explicitado, como: Reigota (1998), Carvalho (2001), Pacheco (2001), Santos (2009). Como resultados, pudemos identificar e inferir que: 1 - o conteúdo sobre sustentabilidade do componente curricular História do DCMA destinado ao ensino fundamental, é limitado pois há um único conteúdo a ser trabalhado do 1o ao 5o ano, 2 - esse conteúdo sobre sustentatibilidade não parece ser suficiente para a real conscientização sobre o meio ambiente, 3 - o projeto formativo precisa tomar como centro as experiências escolares que envolvem o conhecimento escolar, visando a sustentabilidade e a consciência ambiental, de modo a resguardar a sociedade e o meio ambiente. 2022-01-04T15:05:00Z 2022-01-04T15:05:00Z 2021-06-04 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação SANTOS, Henrique Darlen Tavares dos.
