For analysis of the structure, presentation and subsequent improvement, we used the software SAP 2000, so it was possible to model the structure and knowledge of the stresses and loads acting on the structure, thus allowing the interpretation of results. After the presentation of the proposed change in the constitution of the board, is expected to maintain the original structure of steel and concrete. For this activity, there is the name of retrofit, the English term which means modernization, an adaptation of old structures to new construction techniques, new materials with improved performance, etc.. Besides the proposed retrofit has also proposed to combat corrosion in existing parts of the metal structure, this corrosion is in a worrying level, so that its progress leads to decrease of the cross section of parts, resulting in loss of resistance of the same. O estudo tem por objetivo apresentar uma proposta de reforma na ponte metálica sobre o rio Mojuzinho, de modo que haja a substituição do tabuleiro atual, composto por chapas metálicas, por uma laje de concreto armado, posteriormente devidamente pavimentado, para que haja uma maior segurança ao fluxo viário que diariamente usufrui dessa ponte. Para análise da estrutura, e posterior apresentação de melhoria, foi utilizado o software SAP 2000, de maneira que foi possível a modelação da estrutura, e conhecimento dos esforços e cargas atuantes na estrutura, permitindo assim a interpretação dos resultados. Após a apresentação da proposta de mudança da constituição do tabuleiro, espera-se manter a estrutura original de aço e concreto. Para tal atividade, dá-se o nome de retrofit, termo em inglês que significa modernização, uma adequação de estruturas antigas a novas técnicas construtivas, novos materiais com melhor desempenho, etc. Além da proposta de retrofit, apresenta-se também proposta de combate à corrosão existente nas peças da estrutura metálica, esta corrosão encontra-se em um nível preocupante, de modo que seu avanço acarreta em diminuição da seção transversal das peças, resultando em perda de resistência das mesmas. 2018-01-24T18:18:56Z 2018-01-24T18:18:56Z 2011-12-20 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação PINTO, Alcides dos Santos; BICHARA JUNIOR, José Walton de Brito.
