It aimed to investigate the experiences and trajectories of women in postgraduate studies, especially in the professional at the Federal University of Pará Master's in Mathematics, on the campuses of Belem, Bragança and Castanhal, and their prospects for continuing studies in the area. Demystifying the idea that mathematics is not a strictly masculine science, in addition to historical support from women not as cited as men mathematicians. We present mathematical mathematics presents from antiquity to the contemporary world on different continents. The methodology used was qualitative research, carried out by an open presence for data collection observed via the environment for women that point to important results regarding the continuity of mathematics in the academy, regarding the continuity of mathematics in double and triple working hours. Even with difficulties, the master's students intend to continue their doctorate. A presente pesquisa está vinculada a linha de pesquisa “Educação Matemática”.Teve por objetivo investigar as vivências e trajetórias de mulheres na pós-graduação em Matemática em especial no mestrado profissional na Universidade Federal do Pará-UFPA/PROFMAT, nos campus de Belém, Bragança e Castanhal, e suas perspectivas de continuidades de estudos na área. Desmistificando a ideia de que Matemática não é uma ciência estritamente masculina além de um respaldo histórico de mulheres não tão citadas como os homens matemáticos. Apresentamos matemáticas presentes desde a antiguidade ao mundo contemporâneo em diferentes continentes. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa qualitativa, realizada por um questionário aberto para coletas de dados e que fora encaminhado via ambiente virtual para as mestrandas. Os resultados apontam para importantes debates quanto a presença e a continuidade de mulheres na Matemática observado nas academias além das duplas e triplas jornadas de trabalho.
