The present research has as its theme the initial and continuing education and the (de)valuation of teaching in Brazil, it aims to analyze and reflect on the theoretical production read, relating it to the reality of the data collected, on the training of teachers of the initial years and the devaluation of this professional in Brazil. For the development of the work, a bibliographic research was carried out, in addition to conducting a field research, through interviews and questionnaires with teachers from the early years. The work addresses the process of teacher education, and the continuing education of this professional and also the perceptible devaluation of teachers in Brazilian society. With the research it is observed that teachers still lack practice in higher education courses and that some institutions still do not offer continuing education for their professionals. And it is also evident the need to value the teaching professional for the improvement of the Brazilian educational system. |
