Resumo:
This work aims to investigate how the use of simulators can contribute to the active learning strategies in Physics teaching for students of the 3rd year of High School. The research was carried out with 59 students with an average age of 18 years at the State School of Elementary and Secondary Education Professor João Ludovico in the municipality of Limoeiro do Ajuru. The virtual experiments, in order to demonstrate to the students of the school who participated in the activities, were presented from the interactive simulators. Data were collected through a questionnaire containing 5 questions addressed in the school environment to assess its use and importance. Our results showed that students are not aware of the software used in electricity topics, but are very interested in using software in Physics classes, and have little contact with educational software in classes. In addition, students understood that their learning has improved a lot from using the software. In addition, the softwares are an excellent teaching strategie and should increasingly be used in classes. Therefore, the use of PhET and Tinkercad software allowed several teaching possibilities in the contents of Physics classes providing a greater meaning of the theoretical concepts that are worked on in educational spaces by Physics teachers. In addition, it is possible to mention the lack of use of virtual experiments that could improve students' interest and learning in learning the concepts of electricity in an easier and more fun way. In this scenario, there is an increasing need to use educational software for more meaningful learning in school spaces.
