It proposes as an objective to discuss the historical conditions of access to higher education for 4 black women from the aforementioned quilombo. The main question that drivesthe present study isto address the historical conditions that enabled the aforementioned women from the quilombo in question to access and even stay in higher education. At the methodological level, the study is anchored in a bibliographic research supported by semi-structured and documentary interviews. The results indicate that, of the four women interviewed, only one did not complete the higher education course, only one is working professionally in her training and one has already finished her academic credits and is in the phase of completion of the course. And the other has already completed two graduations, but so far does not work in their areas of training. O presente artigo decorre de algumas problematizações desenvolvidas na disciplina História da Educação Brasileira e da Amazônia do curso de Pedagogia da UFPA, campus Abaetetuba, Polo de Tomé Açu e apresenta como temática central Acesso ao Ensino Superior por mulheres quilombolas na Comunidade de Santa Terezinha no município de Irituia/PA. Propõe como objetivo discutir as condições históricas de acesso ao ensino superior de quatro mulheres negras do referido quilombo. A questão principal que move o presente estudo consiste em tratar quais condições históricas que possibilitaram as referidas mulheres do quilombo em questão para acesso e mesmo a permanência no ensino superior. No plano metodológico o estudo ancora-se em uma pesquisa de cunho bibliográfica com suporte de entrevistas semiestruturadas e documental. Os resultados indicam que, das quatro mulheres entrevistadas apenas uma não concluiu o curso superior, apenas uma encontra-se atuando profissionalmente na sua formação e uma já finalizou os seus créditos acadêmicos e está na fase de conclusão do curso.
