Introduction: Primary Health Care (PHC) is the first level of attention in the Single Health System (SUS) in Brazil, whereupon the performance of the nutritionist is challenging characterized by actions to encourage healthy eating and self­care with health, in face of the current Brazilian epidemiological situation with the noncommunicable diseases (NCD's) and nutritional deficiencies. In this sense, nutritional care is essential to overcome the problems related to feeding the population and the availability of materials that help the work of great relevance. A manual is an educational technology for sharing the knowledge that can provide input for the qualification of the nutritionist's work at APS. Objective: Elaborate a manual of Nutrition Assistance in Primary Health Care. Method: This work is characterized by the elaboration of a guide after a literature review on nutritional care in PHC and educational technologies in health care. Its construction occurred in the following steps: 1. Literature review and structuring of the chapters of the manual; 2. Textual construction based on the review, study and selection of information to compose the manual; 3. Selection and definition of images; 4. Manual's designer; 5. Final formatting of the manual. Its structure was done in the program Microsoft PowerPoint version 2016 and selection of the images were in Freepik website and Google images. Furthermore, the printing of the manual was on colored A4 paper in the dimensions 15x21. Results: For the construction of the guide, 76 documents were used, such as publications of the Health Ministry, books, scientific articles, and manuals all published between 2006 and 2018. The manual presents the stages of nutritional care, divided into six chapters, according to the life cycles: pregnant, child, adolescent, adult, elderly and special situations: Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy. Final considerations: The guide proposes to provide nutritionists with guidelines for nutritional care in PHC, understanding the importance of qualifying care in this level of care. With this work the essentiality of the elaboration of tools that orient nutritional professionals was perceived.
