Nutritional supplements are substances capable of optimizing the practice of physical exercises for individuals who perform intense and high performance training. Like sports training, sports nutrition needs to be focused on periodization and meet the individual's energy and nutritional needs according to their training phase. Crossfit® is used for general conditioning and physical performance, providing gains in the musculoskeletal system. Objective: to characterize the consumption of nutritional supplements by crossfit® practicing women in Belém do Pará. Materials and Methods: descriptive, quantitative, exploratory field research, crosssectional, with adult women, between 19 and 30 years of age. Data were collected through a semistructured questionnaire composed of 15 questions. Results: the study found that the number of women who use nutritional supplements is higher than those who do not consume (56.8% and 43.2%, respectively) and that of these, 85.7% consume from a nutritional prescription. The most commonly used supplements are Whey Protein, Creatine, BCAA and Vitamins (81%, 66.7% and 52.4%) respectively. Regarding the adequacy of the dosage and the time of intake of the most consumed supplements, it was not possible to obtain answers regarding BCAA. Conclusion: it is concluded that the characterization of the nutritional supplement intake by women practicing crossfit® occurs in a proportional way between those who consume and those who do not consume.
