Currently, in the context of mental health, care is advocated through a
multidisciplinary team, which develops various activities for therapeutics purposes,
including educational activities. Therefore, the aim of this study was to analyze the
importance of educational activities promoted by a Nutrition Team for users of a
Psychosocial Care Center Alcohol and other Drugs. This is a descriptive and
exploratory study, with quantitative and qualitative approach, developed in Belém- PA, from June to October 2019, in which was applied a form containing questions
about the evaluation of educational activities and the users’ perception about these
practices. As a result, a sample of 23 users was obtained, in which all considered the
educational activities important, evaluating them as excellent (52.1%) and good
(47.8%), and 91.3% believe that they contribute with the treatment. Therefore, it is
concluded that the educational activities developed by the Nutrition Team are
practices that, besides helping health promotion, collaborate with users’ learning and
therapeutic treatment. Regarding perception, it was evident that the importance of
educational practices was related to learning and as a way of occupying the mind
and away from drugs. |
