INTRODUCTION: The National School Feeding Program (PNAE), is the oldest public policy in force in Brazil, which is currently responsible for feeding more than 40,000 students from public schools and since its inception has advanced in several aspects. With the enactment of Law 11.947/2009, the investment of at least 30% of federal on lendings was guaranteed for the funds for the familybased farming procurement. OJJETIVE: The objective of this study was to analyze the normative adequacy of public calls for food acquisition from family farms to the National School Feeding Program (PNAE) of Pará municipalities. METHODOLOGY: This is a descriptive analytical study with analysis of 43 Public Calls available on the Pará Municipal Court of Auditors (TCM-PA) website for the publication period from January 1 to December 31, 2018. RESULTS: The results showed several non-conformities and lack of detailed information on distribution logistics aspects, delivery schedule, prices paid, sales project selection criteria, notice annexes and contractual clauses in public call notices. CONCLUSION: The results showed that, after 10 years after the enactment of the law, the Municipal Education Departments, Executing Entities, are still unable to prepare the public call notice that meets all the norms that guide the food purchase process of the family farming for the program.
