The work is necessary due to the increase in the number of elderly with Non -Communicable Diseases and Diseases and with this a Manual of Food and Nutritional Education for the Elderly, in order to promote health education, improve the quality of life and increase the life expectancy of this population. For this, it is essential to disseminate and reproduce students and health professionals so that the elderly public have knowledge about healthy eating and be a multiplier of knowledge to the people of their conviviality, constituting a healthy and active aging. A study of the type of experience report that wishes to provide health and wellbeing to the
elderly is carried out. With this it is verified that the educational material, the e-book
model, is divided into thematic axes that precede and explain with theoretical basis
the activities of Food and Nutrition Education present in the material in a detailed
manner, with a simple and easy-to-reproduce approach, which shows the possibility
of a linear communication between technical and popular knowledge.
