The article's main objective is to rescue my student, academic and professional memories, highlighting the challenges and perspectives of the lived experiences. For this study, used the memorial genre and bibliographic research. The bibliographic research had theoretical support about woman in the university context, gender equality and educational policies aimed the female public. While the memorial genre made it possible to describe and narrate life experiences interacting with discourse and other theoretical interlocutors. Methodologically, the research has a qualitative perspective in Education, specifically, for bringing considerations situated in the socio-educational experiences in the process of formation the subjects. And as the autobiographical method is configured as a source and testimony of individual actions, in this case I am the subject of research of the study, because I bring a writing of my history and my memories. In addition, the research pointed out some discussions about women's dilemmas and overcoming in their social and university context.
