In this respect the research brings the relevant profession of the librarian, the professional who had to reinvent himself all the time, changing his way of interacting with the work environment and with individuals, with the way to work before was just to treat the information to keep in the collections, today must treat and think about how you will do to disseminate to your audience or potential audience. Through bibliographic research, in documents selected in databases, scientific journals and academic sites in the areas of Library and Information Science, contents of the most relevant articles for the development of this research, for librarianship mediation and dissemination of information, for nutrition content such as integral use of food and the right to food. Therefore, through this multidisciplinary study it was possible to identify how this information professional can contribute with their skills, skills and social work. A informação é fundamental para adquirir conhecimento, esse por sua vez proporciona novos caminhos em direção ao que se busca na vida profissional, pois, só através de muita leitura pode-se ter como argumentar e descrever sobre novos estudos. A respeito disso a pesquisa trouxe a relevante profissão do bibliotecário, esse profissional que teve de se reinventar ao passar do tempo, mudando sua forma de interagir com o meio de trabalho e com os indivíduos, com a forma de trabalhar antes era apenas tratar a informação para guardar nos acervos, hoje deve tratar e pensar em como vai fazer para disseminar para o seu público ou público em potencial. Através da pesquisa bibliográfica, em documentos selecionados em bases de dados, periódicos científicos e sites acadêmicos nas áreas de Biblioteconomia e Nutrição, conteúdos dos artigos mais relevantes para desenvolvimento dessa pesquisa, para biblioteconomia mediação e disseminação da informação, para nutrição conteúdos como o aproveitamento integral dos alimentos e o direito a alimentação.
