Due to the difficulty in teaching linear algebra, new ways of presenting this content have been sought. The present work presents a computational approach in the teaching of linear transformations in the plane, where the Microsoft Excel program is used to develop this algebraic content. The advantage of using electronic spreadsheets is the exploration of matrix, numerical and graphic representations of linear transformations simultaneously, which makes them an excellent tool for teaching and learning linear algebra. |
