The advantage of using electronic spreadsheets is the exploration of matrix, numerical and graphic representations of linear transformations simultaneously, which makes them an excellent tool for teaching and learning linear algebra. Devido à dificuldade no ensino de álgebra linear vem-se procurando novos meios de apresentar este conteúdo. O presente trabalho apresenta uma abordagem computacional no ensino das transformações lineares no plano, ondem utiliza-se do programa Microsoft Excel para desenvolver esse conteúdo algébrico.
