Nesse trabalho são discutidos os componentes do drama vivido pelos indígenas citadinos residentes na Cidade de Altamira - PA no processo da construção da UHE Belo Monte. Além do trabalho de revisão bibliográfica foram realizadas entrevistas de campo.
