It aims to analyze how the process of inclusion of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder - ASD occurs from GAOPA's perspective. The theoretical framework is in Sílvia Ester Orrú (2016), Geraldo Dawson (2020), James C. McPartland (2020), Sally Ozonoff (2020), among the authors who talk about ASD; Fernandes (1994), Montenegro (1994), authors who talk about the work of NGOs. The methodology is qualitative and bibliographic research that discuss the theme addressed in this article, in books, articles, Union documents and municipal documents. In conclusion, GAOPA has a fundamental role in the municipality, being the pioneer in the struggles for the inclusion of people with ASD and for spreading information about autism in the municipality. O presente trabalho foi realizado na Associação de Apoio e Orientação aos Pais de AutistaGAOPA, entidade não governamental, situada no município de Barcarena-Pa. Tem por objetivo analisar como ocorre o processo de inclusão da pessoa com Transtorno do Espectro Autista - TEA sobre a perspectiva da GAOPA. O referencial teórico está em Sílvia Ester Orrú (2016), Geraldo Dawson (2020), James C.McPartland (2020), Sally Ozonoff (2020), entre os autores que dissertam sobre o TEA; Fernandes (1994), Montenegro (1994), autores que falam sobre o trabalho das ONGS. A metodologia é de base qualitativa e pesquisa bibliográfica que discutem a temática abordada nesse artigo, em livros, artigos, documentos da União e documentos municipais.
