The present text aims to promote the visibility of academic productions related to the theme of children, childhood, and the Amazon, through the mapping of theses and dissertations produced and defended in the Postgraduate Programs in Education in the Northern Region of Brazil, from 2010 to 2020. The objective is to map and analyze, based on the Sociology of Childhood and studies of the History of Childhood, the state of knowledge about child-childhood-education in the Amazon produced in Postgraduate Programs in Education in the Northern Region of Brazil. Methodologically, it is a qualitative and bibliographic research, approaching studies configured as state of knowledge. Through the search in the repositories of theses and dissertations of the Postgraduate Programs in Education in the Northern region, we cataloged a total of 73 academic productions (59 dissertations and 14 theses) related to the central theme of the study, using the terms "children," "childhood," and "Amazon." Considering the wide range of available productions, especially in this study, six dissertations were analyzed in order to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the child and childhood in different Amazonian contexts.
