The objective is to map and analyze, based on the Sociology of Childhood and studies of the History of Childhood, the state of knowledge about child-childhood-education in the Amazon produced in Postgraduate Programs in Education in the Northern Region of Brazil. Methodologically, it is a qualitative and bibliographic research, approaching studies configured as state of knowledge. Through the search in the repositories of theses and dissertations of the Postgraduate Programs in Education in the Northern region, we cataloged a total of 73 academic productions (59 dissertations and 14 theses) related to the central theme of the study, using the terms "children," "childhood," and "Amazon." Considering the wide range of available productions, especially in this study, six dissertations were analyzed in order to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the child and childhood in different Amazonian contexts. O presente texto visa promover a visibilidade das produções acadêmicas relacionadas à temática da criança, infância e Amazônia, por meio de um mapeamento de teses e dissertações produzidas e defendidas nos Programas de Pós-graduação em Educação da Região Norte do Brasil, no período de 2010 a 2020. Tem como objetivo mapear e analisar, com base na Sociologia da Infância e nos estudos da História da Infância, o estado do conhecimento sobre crianças-infância-educação na Amazônia. Metodologicamente, trata-se de uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo e bibliográfico, que se aproxima dos estudos configurados como estados do conhecimento. Por meio da busca nos repositórios de teses e dissertações dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Educação da região Norte, catalogamos um total de 73 produções acadêmicas (59 dissertações e 14 teses) relacionadas à temática central do estudo, as quais utilizam-se dos termos "crianças", "infâncias" e "Amazônia".
