This article deals with the occupational profile and the meaning of high risk gestation
for hospitalized women. In order to do so, we sought to understand and identify the
occupations most committed to the pathologies arising from gestation and the
possible impacts of hospitalization on the daily life of these women, as well as on the
perception of high-risk pregnant women about hospital care received. The research
was applied in a maternal and child hospital in the north of Brazil, which specializes
in assisting high-risk pregnant women. In this context, ten hospitalized women with
different diagnoses and age groups were heard. |
