This study aimed to describe and analyze the role of pedagogical work in the motor development of children up to 11 years of age. This is a scope review, carried out through the Platform of the Center for Personal Improvement (CAPES), with descriptors "pedagogy professional"; "pedagogue"; "pedagogue; "motor development"; "child"; "classroom", linked by the Boolean operator "OR" with articles that have been published from 2018 to 2022. After screening 5,347 studies, seven surveys were included, showing that the work developed by educators, in general, such as activities that stimulate the use of hands, specifically, and activities that have the motor component of students as their target, are essential for the motor development of the student, for the integral development of students , whether in writing or another area of learning. It is concluded that pedagogy has an extremely important role for the motor development of students, and that more research on the subject should be implemented. O desenvolvimento motor é um elemento do desenvolvimento geral do ser humano, e é estabelecido como a capacidade de movimentar o corpo, constituído na mudança no comportamento, postura e movimento que se permeia ao longo da vida. Este estudo teve como o objetivo descrever e analisar o papel do trabalho pedagógico no desenvolvimento motor da criança até 11 anos de idade. Trata-se de uma revisão de escopo, realizada através da Plataforma do Centro de Aperfeiçoamento Pessoal (CAPES), com descritores "profissional de pedagogia"; "pedagogo"; "pedagoga; "desenvolvimento motor"; "criança"; “sala de aula", interligadas pelo operador Booleano "OU" com artigos que tenham sido publicados dos anos de 2018 a 2022. Após triagem de 5.347 estudos, sete pesquisas foram incluídas, mostrando que o trabalho desenvolvido pelos educacadores, de modo geral, como as atividades que estimulam uso das mãos, especificamente, e as atividades que tem o componente motor dos alunos seu alvo, são imprescindíveis para o desenvolvimento motor do aluno, para o desenvolvimento integral dos educandos, seja na escrita ou outra área de aprendizagem.
