The research was conducted using a deductive method with an exploratory approach, in conjunction with bibliographic and documentary research, as well as data collection through empirical research. Initially, an introduction and contextualization were conducted regarding topics relevant to the research objective, such as the reality of combating gender-based violence in Brazil, the Maria da Penha Law, and public policies aimed at male perpetrators of violence. This was followed by a presentation of these initiatives and a brief summary of the mentioned legislation and its possible impacts on the projects developed in Belém. Based on the data obtained through the employed research methods, especially bibliographic and empirical research, it was found that Law No. 13.984/2020 brought significant changes to the dynamics of assisting male perpetrators of gender-based violence through reflective groups, particularly in quantitative terms, without necessarily impairing the reflective process of the assisted individuals in the face of the coerciveness of protective measures. O objetivo da presente pesquisa é analisar de que forma o caráter impositivo das novas modalidades de medidas protetivas instituídas pela Lei nº 13.984/2020 impactou os atendimentos realizados pela Defensoria Pública do Pará a homens autores de violência de gênero em Belém/PA. O método utilizado para a realização da pesquisa foi o dedutivo, com uma abordagem de cunho exploratório, em conjunto com pesquisas bibliográficas, documentais, além de coleta de dados por meio de pesquisa empírica. Em princípio, realizou-se uma introdução e contextualização acerca de temas caros ao objetivo da pesquisa, como a realidade do enfrentamento à violência de gênero no Brasil, Lei Maria da Penha e políticas públicas voltadas ao homem autor de violência, seguidos por uma apresentação dessas iniciativas e um breve resumo sobre a referida legislação e seus possíveis impactos no âmbito dos projetos desenvolvidos em Belém. Com base nos dados obtidos por meio das pesquisas empregadas, sobretudo as bibliográficas e a de cunho empírico, constatou-se que a Lei nº 13.984/2020 trouxe mudanças significativas na dinâmica de atendimento a homens autores de violência de gênero por meio dos grupos reflexivos, principalmente no aspecto quantitativo, sem necessariamente prejudicar o processo reflexivo dos assistidos ante a coercitividade das medidas protetivas. 2023-10-25T16:28:30Z 2023-10-25T16:28:30Z 2023-07-04 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Graduação PAIVA, Joel da Costa.
