Resumo:
Such research has the theme : Skin color and scaup tale : an analysis of social prejudice in pre - modernist literature Monteiro Lobato . The study tries to answer those proposed on the social treatment received by Negrinha character in the narrative context of Monteiro Lobato on the interpretation of the form of differentiated treatment of the black character and nieces in the narrative of the white mistress concerned questions . Highlights the fact that the character is black and battered and racial prejudice in society setting and the reasons why the black is treated as an inferior being in the narrative . The general objectives listed in this study focus on the broad reflection in order to understand aspects of social prejudice in pre - modernist literature the work of Monteiro Lobato in character Scoter . As a methodological procedure was used literature search , data collection , in order to collect information concerning this study . Through this research, we sought theoretical support in authors as Kabegele Munanga (2012 ) which explores the theme : social prejudice that is portrayed in the work of Monteiro Lobato Scaup . From the analysis of the work , submit a proposal of pedagogical application of study through an instructional sequence , having as target the 9th ano/09 students to serve as a methodological support for teachers of the discipline Portuguese. The results obtained constitute evidence of the existence of prejudice against the character Scoter.
