This work aims to present a thematic about the main causes of the involvement of the adolescent with infractions that are attended at the Specialized Reference Center of Social Assistance (CREAS) in Abaetetuba, and the policies aimed at these adolescents. In this, it will also be presented briefly the history of the achievements of the rights of children and adolescents, arriving at landmark of gain of full protection, the Statute of the Child and Adolescent, portraying socio-educational measures. There is also a discussion of the issue of the reduction of the penal majority towards an all this context. For the accomplishment of this research, was used like methodological base the bibliographic exploration, the use of qualitative and quantitative approaches through the application of questionnaires and open interviews with professionals of the Sector of Socio-educational Measure of the CREAS.
