In this, it will also be presented briefly the history of the achievements of the rights of children and adolescents, arriving at landmark of gain of full protection, the Statute of the Child and Adolescent, portraying socio-educational measures. There is also a discussion of the issue of the reduction of the penal majority towards an all this context. For the accomplishment of this research, was used like methodological base the bibliographic exploration, the use of qualitative and quantitative approaches through the application of questionnaires and open interviews with professionals of the Sector of Socio-educational Measure of the CREAS. Este trabalho objetiva apresentar uma temática acerca das principais causas do envolvimento do adolescente com atos infracionais que são atendidos no Centro de Referência Especializado de Assistência Social (CREAS) em Abaetetuba, e as políticas destinadas a esses adolescentes. Neste, também será apresentado de forma breve a história das conquistas dos direitos das crianças e adolescentes, chegando ao marco de ganho da proteção integral, o Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente, retratando sobre as medidas socioeducativas. Havendo também uma discussão da questão da redução da maioridade penal frente a todo esse contexto.
