Based on the empirical perception of the daily life of the school community, it was possible to verify the importance of the açaí culture in the social dynamics of the people living on the banks of rivers, incorporating habits, customs and relations as belonging, identification, economic and labor, and in a very particular way, relationships in the school environment. In this sense, from History classes, I try to understand how açaí can be used as an element of understanding of the past by teachers of History as an essential didactic object to understand the rural school, the society in which we live and the conflicts. established by the construction of the Amazonian identity of Tocantins. Este artigo é resultado da experiência docente no Sistema de Organização Modular de Ensino na Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Padre Pedro, zona ribeirinha do município de Igarapé-Miri/PA. A partir da percepção empírica, fruto do convívio no dia-a-dia da comunidade escolar, foi possível constatar a importância que a cultura do açaí significa na dinâmica social do povo ribeirinho miriense, incorporando hábitos, costumes, e relações como pertencimento, identificação econômicas, de trabalho e, de modo muito particular, as relações no ambiente escolar. Nesse sentido, a partir das aulas de História, tento perceber como o açaí pode ser utilizado como um elemento de compreensão do passado pelos professores de História como um objeto de ensino indispensável para entender a escola do campo, a sociedade em que vivemos, e os conflitos estabelecidos a partir da própria construção da identidade amazônica tocantina. 2018-08-29T16:25:32Z 2018-08-29T16:25:32Z 2018-08-16 Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso - Especialização - Artigo FORTES, Robson Pena.
