Analyzes based on the literature the potentiality of application of the Competitive Intelligence for the organizational performance of the libraries. Knowing the environment in which it operates and improving the services and products they offer are decisive factors for an organization to survive in this new scenario. And so, since libraries are organizations, they should also seek ways to maintain a favorable competitive advantage, especially in order to be able to fulfill the purpose for which they were created Thus, the work approaches the Library as an Organization and exposes to Competitive Intelligence, presenting its definition and processes. The bibliographical research was adopted as methodology. The terms "competitive intelligence", "competitive intelligence" in libraries, "competitive intelligence" and "competitive intelligence" and "information units" were investigated in the SCIELO, BRAPCI and LISA databases, in addition to periodicals from librarianship and institutional repositories So for libraries, how competitive intelligence techniques are: Swot Analysis, such as Five Porter Forces, Benchmarking, Balanced Scorecard, Critical Success Factors, Data Mining, Data Warehousing. Given the importance of the subject, it is emphasized the importance of a greater approach on the subject. |
