The main objective of this study is to investigate the importance of play activities in child leaming and to show that play is important in Early Childhood Education. The research was elaborated a questionnaire with six questions, which were applied in three teachers who work in Early Childhood Education. Through this research it was possible to show how playful is important for the development and life of these children, which is an indispensable didactic resource in educational practices. Since these playful activities in institutions are not yet their proper value, they are certainly of great importance for learning, since great authors, among them Vygotsky, Piaget and Kishimoto, prove that playfulness is a positive strategy for learning. The teaching-learning process in Early Childhood Education, because while the child develops and socializes at the same time, in this way, they are discovering their role in society.
