Resumo:
The present work is the study of the comparison of stochastic numerical methods in models of Brownian motion, among them active matter. Active matter consists of a set of phenomena out of equilibrium in which there are movements of self-propelled particles expending their own internal energy. It is well known that out-of-equilibrium systems have some complexity in their properties. In the context of simulation, we want to study the use of different numerical methods, in the case of Euler and Runge-kutta, for different measures and to compare their performance (precision and agreement of the measures, as well as time of execution of the calculations) in diffusion and current measures of particles (average speed).
