Resumo:
Considering the importance of teaching Science and its intrinsic relationship in all fields of human existence, in addition to its educational practices to enable teaching-learning processes, we were interested in studying the subject of teaching resources. This research aimed to investigate the terms in which Science and Biology teachers use teaching resources in the final years of primary and secondary education. This is a qualitative research of the systematic literature review type. We used as a research source the database of the Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo) and Capes portals, where active searches were carried out to evaluate articles published in the period from 2018 to 2022, through the use of descriptors. A summarized description of the articles was carried out, paying attention to the conceptual characteristics involving the theme - teaching resources -, the temporal and spatial location, the issues addressed by teachers in the use of teaching resources and the contributions of teaching resources to teaching Science and Biology, precisely according to the perspective of the authors of the works. For data analysis purposes, we rely on interpretative analysis. We found articles from all regions of the country, with emphasis on the Southeast region. The teaching resources used by teachers ranged from the use of plants to more modern technological resources, and some resources were even produced by the teachers themselves. We observed a varied number of topics worked on, such as: Zoology, Microbiology, Genetics, scientific knowledge, research and health. All teachers externalized positive contributions from the use of the teaching resources they used, mainly in terms of student motivation and dynamization of classes. With the completion of this research, we intend to contribute to the elaboration of a systematized document so that teachers and/or undergraduate students can learn about more recent pedagogical practices that are supported by teaching resources and that can be inspired to carry out work in their classrooms.
