Whit objective to arouse students’ interest in being insert in the learning process as active agents in the search for answer problems, in this case, about the mixture separation and making possible learning. Being carried out in two class of 1 st of high school at the Dom Pedro I School, in the Para stated, Brazil. In the methodology was used qualitative methods, in which it is possible to analyses the individual and collective perspectives of the students and of researcher. The results showed the larger interest of students with base on the investigative practice. In addition, the data collected demonstrated significant learning for students, with excellent repercussions. On the order hand, in the question resolution of the ENEM (National High School Exam) about the mixture separation was constated it is necessary more time of the study for the students. O presente trabalho consistiu na realização e análise de aula prática investigativa sobre processos de separação de misturas em contrapartida ao método exclusivamente tradicional de ensino, no qual o aluno é mero espectador ou repetidor de conceitos. Com objetivo de despertar o interesse dos alunos por estes serem inseridos no processo de aprendizagem como agentes ativos na busca de respostas para solucionar problemas, neste caso, sobre os métodos de separação de misturas e possibilitar a aprendizagem. Sendo realizado em duas turmas de 1º ano do ensino médio da escola Estadual de Ensino Médio Dom Pedro I, Sede, localizada em cidade de Porto de Moz – PA. Para tanto, na metodologia de pesquisa adotou-se uma abordagem qualitativa, que prevê a relevância da perspectiva individual e coletiva dos participantes, bem como a do próprio pesquisador. Como resultado, verificou-se maior aprendizagem observada na realização das tarefas com base na pratica investigativa. Além disso, os dados coletados demonstraram um aprendizado significativo para os alunos, tendo excelente repercussão.
