This work investigates the impact of using classroom experiments on the teaching-learning
process of physics. Many students consider physics a difficult subject to understand due to the
complexity of the language used in concepts and its association with mathematics. However, it
is believed that it is possible to awaken students’ interest through something that fascinates and
catches their attention. Based on this, the experimental photophone, based on Alexander
Graham Bell’s invention, was chosen as a pedagogical tool to approach the theoretical concepts
of physics. The aim of this study is to verify the relevant impacts and consequences of using
this experiment in the classroom. It is expected that the result of this work will serve as a guiding
tool for future works related to the use of experiments as pedagogical support material in
physics. |
