The research carried out is predominantly qualitative, because through the data consulted in the National Education Plan, we can analyze the information contained in the goals relating to Youth and Adult Education in Brazil, and what specific strategies are aimed at the demand addressed. And in a quantitative way, through the analysis of data contained in the Brazilian basic education yearbook, which measures the rates of Youth and Adult Education both at the National level and in the five regions of Brazil. The theoretical sources that support the discussions are: Arroyo (1998), BESSERA (2014), Alvez (2008), National Education Plan-PNE (2013), Brazilian Yearbook of Basic Education (2018), and others. The results obtained in the research highlight the disparity in the teaching quality of EJA classes in the different regions of Brazil, as well as the differences between the educational development indicators for the education of young people and adults, in the different segments presented, for example: age group, ethnicity, gender and social status. O presente estudo intitulado como “Plano Nacional de Educação 2014-2024 e a Educação de Jovens e Adultos nas escolas do campo de Curralinho-Pará” objetivou investigar como acontecem as relações das experiências vivenciadas, estudos e discussões acerca da Educação de Jovens e Adultos com um olhar específico para a EJA no campo do município de Curralinho-PA. A pesquisa realizada é de base predominantemente qualitativa, pois através dos dados consultados no Plano Nacional de Educação, podemos analisar as informações contidas nas metas referentes à Educação de Jovens e Adultos no Brasil, e quais as estratégias especificas voltada a demanda abordada. E de forma quantitativos, através da analise dos dados contidos no anuário brasileiro da educação básica, que medem os índices da Educação de Jovens e Adultos tanto no âmbito Nacional, como nas cinco regiões do Brasil. As fontes teóricas que sustentam as discussões são: Arroyo (1998), BESSERA (2014), Alvez (2008), Plano Nacional de Educação-PNE (2013), Anuário Brasileiro da Educação Básica (2018), e outros.
