To this end, theoretical studies were carried out based mainly on authors who discuss the subject, in order to know the main learning difficulties, so that, later, the intervention in reality. The intervention process occurred, firstly, through diagnostic tests to verify the difficulties, when it was found that part of these difficulties result from the difference established between daily use and the way they are taught at school and, specifically in the field of work with fractions, the identification of numerator and denominator would be the most immediate difficulty. Based on these findings, the process of pedagogical intervention through games was considered. It is considered important to use games in fraction teaching, as they allow content previously taught in a merely theoretical way to be seen in practical actions and compared to everyday elements. The "Domino of fractions" proved to be efficient in overcoming the difficulties encountered. Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar os efeitos do uso dos jogos no ensino-aprendizagem de frações, em uma turma do 6º ano do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola pública municipal na comunidade de Abade no município de Curuçá-Pará. Para isso foram realizados estudos teóricos baseados, principalmente, em autores que discutem o assunto afim de conhecer quais as principais dificuldades de aprendizagem, para, posteriormente, a intervenção na realidade. O processo de intervenção ocorreu, primeiramente, por meio de testes diagnósticos para verificar as dificuldades, quando se constatou que parte dessas dificuldades decorre da diferença instituída entre o uso cotidiano e a maneira como são ensinados na escola e, especificamente no campo do trabalho com frações, a identificação de numerador e denominador seria a dificuldade mais imediata. A partir destas constatações, pensou-se no processo de intervenção pedagógica por meio de jogos. Considera-se ser importante a utilização dos jogos no ensino de fração por permitirem que conteúdos antes ministrados de forma meramente teórica possam ser vistos em ações práticas e comparados a elementos do cotidiano.
