Este trabalho de conclusão de curso está alicerçado nos objetivos de descrever seis movimentos básicos do subgênero de movimento da dança breakin chamado power move, assim como, tecer relações teóricas e filosóficas sobre a dança e as concepções de corpo que nortearam meu caminho durante as vivências e relações estabelecidas rumo ao movimento power move. Para tanto, dialogo com Hoffman e Harris (2002) em seus estudos sobre a cinesiologia, Marleu-Ponty (2006) e a fenomenologia, assim como, Bolsanello (2005) para a noção de corpo enquanto experiência.
