This final project intends to present the process of modernization of the control system used to regulate the level of water in drainage wells inside Tucuruí hydroelectric power plant using a new set of mercoid level meters with hydrostatic sensors. The implementation of this upgrading, proved to be necessary to solve problems related to the controlling and signaling of the drainage wells, which increased reliability of the system, reduced the cost of corrective maintenances and made the whole process safer. In the development part of this work, it will be presented the usual settings of drainage wells inside Tucuruí hydroelectric power plant. Moreover, it will be discussed the operation process of two types of level meters, and the steps to study and implement the modernization of level meter control systems. In conclusion, this work presents the results obtained from the modernization process and upcoming plans to the control system of drainage wells inside the hydroelectric power plant. |
