This problem is aggravated by the disparity in the distribution of basic sanitation services and the lack of information about infections, their modes of transmission and prophylactic measures. Thus, one of the ways to promote health and encourage healthy lifestyle practices is through health education in the school environment. This practice not only encourages changes in behavior, but also contributes substantially to improving quality of life and fosters the development of knowledge that promotes self-care. In this learning context, the use of comic books can be presented as a didactic alternative that facilitates the teaching and learning process on the topic of helminthiasis. Comics and their various genres have become popular in recent decades and have been inserted into the school environment with the purpose of assisting in the development of learning situations. Therefore, this research aims to investigate a didactic proposal systematized in the Three Pedagogical Moments (3MP), focusing on teaching and learning the theme of helminthiasis through comic books, aimed at high school students. The approach adopted in this research is qualitative in nature, using participatory research as its methodology. Data collection took place through the application of a diagnostic questionnaire, the answers to which helped both in verifying prior knowledge about the topic in question and in characterizing the subjects; and final questionnaire for the research and production of digital comics, in addition to participant observation. The results of the questionnaires were tabulated and analyzed in Microsoft Excel and presented in the form of tables and graphs, while the comics were evaluated based on an analytical rubric. The educational product resulting from this research is a teaching guide entitled “Health education from the production of comic books: teaching guide”, which presents a didactic proposal for health education in high school. The use of 3MP in conjunction with the language of comics, combined with activities centered on the active participation of students, played a fundamental role in the engagement and motivation of participants throughout the pedagogical activities. This resulted in a better understanding of the content studied and the acquisition of new knowledge related to the forms of transmission, symptoms, causative agents and prevention measures for helminthiasis. As helmintíases são doenças intestinais causadas por helmintos (vermes), constituindo-se como um desafio significativo para a saúde pública. Esse problema é agravado pela disparidade na distribuição de serviços de saneamento básico e pela carência de informações sobre as infecções, seus modos de transmissão e medidas profiláticas. Assim, uma das formas de se promover a saúde e incentivar práticas de vida saudáveis é por meio da educação em saúde no ambiente escolar. Essa prática não apenas estimula mudanças de comportamento, mas também contribui substancialmente para a melhoria da qualidade de vida e fomenta o desenvolvimento de conhecimentos promotores do autocuidado. Nesse contexto de aprendizagem, a utilização de histórias em quadrinhos (HQ) pode se apresentar como uma alternativa didática facilitadora do processo de ensino e aprendizagem sobre a temática helmintíases. A HQ e seus diversos gêneros se popularizou nas últimas décadas e vem sendo inserida no ambiente escolar com a finalidade de auxiliar no desenvolvimento de situações de aprendizagem. Dessa forma, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo investigar uma proposta didática sistematizada nos Três Momentos Pedagógicos (3MP), com enfoque no ensino e na aprendizagem da temática helmintíases por meio de histórias em quadrinhos, destinada a alunos do Ensino Médio. A abordagem adotada nesta pesquisa é de cunho qualitativo, tendo como metodologia a pesquisa participante. A coleta de dados se deu por meio da aplicação de questionário diagnóstico, cuja respostas ajudaram tanto na verificação dos conhecimentos prévios acerca da temática em questão quanto na caracterização dos sujeitos; e questionário final da pesquisa e produção de histórias em quadrinhos digitais, além da observação participante. Os resultados dos questionários foram tabulados e analisados no Microsoft Excel e apresentados em forma de tabelas e gráfico, enquanto as histórias em quadrinhos foram avaliadas com base em uma rubrica analítica. O produto educacional resultante desta pesquisa é um guia didático intitulado “Educação em saúde a partir da produção de histórias em quadrinhos: guia didático”, que apresenta uma proposta didática para a Educação em saúde no Ensino Médio. A utilização dos 3MP em conjunto com a linguagem da história em quadrinhos, aliados a atividades centradas na participação ativa dos alunos, desempenharam um papel fundamental no engajamento e motivação dos participantes ao longo das atividades pedagógicas. Isso resultou em uma melhor compreensão dos conteúdos estudados e na aquisição de novos conhecimentos relacionados às formas de transmissão, sintomas, agentes causadores e medidas de prevenção das helmintíases.
