The research explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on decision-making
in the construction industry, particularly in the use of programs for the preparation
of architectural projects. Although AI offers several opportunities for resource
optimization, scenario simulation, and process automation, it also presents
challenges, such as the dependence on automated systems that can
compromise the quality of technical work. The study seeks to investigate the
potential benefits and risks associated with the implementation of AI in the sector,
with a focus on the creation and management of architectural projects. The
methodology adopted involved bibliographic research based on academic
articles, books, and recent case studies, with a thematic analysis: identifying the
programs that are classified as AI and how they affect today's civil engineering
scenario, their challenges, and benefits. The results indicate that, although AI can
improve efficiency and reduce costs, its application without technical supervision
can generate misinterpretation and legal problems, especially when users do not
have specialized training. The research concludes that, in order to maximize the
benefits of AI, it is essential that construction professionals continue to act
critically, supervising technological tools and ensuring that projects comply with
local standards and requirements. Therefore, AI should be seen as a
complementary tool, and not as a substitute for the technical knowledge of
professionals in the sector. |
