The present work consists in the development of a periodic table as a teaching-learning tool. In addition, it serves as a material support for a different methodology and also as a way to facilitate students' understanding, showing the importance of chemical elements. It aimed to verify the acceptance of the interactive periodic table by the students and the teacher, as well as the students' learning regarding the application of chemical elements in their daily lives. The interactive periodic table was built using web technologies HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Bootstrap. This, besides showing basic information of the periodic table, also brings additional information of the chemical elements, as well as the image of the electronic layer of each element. This tool was widely accepted by the interviewed students, who showed interest in learning the periodic table, and also reported to be interesting, which facilitated the understanding of the periodic table. In addition, it was accepted by the teacher, who reported being interesting and that helps understanding due to the information contained behind each element, in addition to taking students out of the classroom environment. |
