The oil industry is broadly divided and segmented into sectors of exploration, identification of sources of oil and gas and extraction (upstream), refining sector of crude oil in its derivatives (midstream) and distribution to the final consumer (downstream), in all segments to different challenges during its operational flowchart, among the most important points is quality and safety in the industry. The third segment differed from the others in that it has a free market policy, which is the responsibility of private companies, which fosters the market and encourages the development of technology that is used as a differential in the face of competition, from this dispute came the additives with the proposal of to enhance the quality of fuels, handling this product has brought new risks to the industry. In this work, the implementation of a pneumatic additive was analyzed with the aim of remedying these risks, during the process necessary improvements were observed for the correct use of the equipment and a classification was generated based on possible scenarios and evaluated with risk matrices and compared to manual additives and the pumping system of underground tanks that were previously used, and verified the efficiency in reducing exposure to incidents, and the possibility of risk with less impact, in addition to optimizing the operation and providing more safety to employees, the environment and the company, in addition to proposing continuous improvements for existing gaps. |
