The authors Alves; Lime; Stumpf (2018) state that sign language has its own spelling, although it is rarely used and that SignWriting meets all the parameters of Libras, making its representations meaningful to its users (deaf and hearing alike). For this, it is necessary for the student to have contact with this writing since the period of the initial series, so that the subjects involved can in the future master the writing of sign language, SignWriting, in this way they can have a good linguistic basis to learn another language. language, in the same way to register, produce, propagate ideas, develop cognitive skills, among others. O presente trabalho tem como proposta apresentar o sistema gráfico da escrita de sinais Língua Brasileira de Sinais - Libras, e analisar se há eficácia no momento de ensino-aprendizagem de acordo com os postulados teóricos. As autoras Alves; Lima; Stumpf (2018) afirmam que a língua de sinais possui sua grafia própria, embora pouco usada e que o SignWriting atende a todos os parâmetros da Libras, tornando suas representações significativas para seus usuários (surdos e ouvintes afins). Para isso é necessário que o educando tenha o contato com essa escrita desde o período das séries iniciais, para que os sujeitos envolvidos possam futuramente ter domínio da escrita da língua de sinais, o SignWriting, dessa forma poderá ter uma boa base linguística para aprender outro idioma, do mesmo modo a se registrar, produzir, propagar ideias, desenvolver o cognitivo, entre outros.
