In the midst of the issue, this work aimed to debate on Network Journalism and disinformation in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially in the first half of 2020. The main authors who guided this study were Wardle, with his studies on the types of fake news, Aguiar and Roxo (2019) with their concepts about the term and Fragoso et al (2011) in their collaborations on the netnographic method. The present study carried out a netnography in WhatsApp groups in Parintins from February to July to follow the avalanche of message sharing with intentionally misleading content during the period, given that in these times with a large flow of information, these platforms carry all kinds of content, even opposing the traditional journalistic report. Through online field research, it was possible to catalog several fake news shared in these groups in the municipality of Parintins-AM. From this, an analysis of the characteristics of fake news was carried out, being possible to notice many similarities in the approach of this pertinent information in its identification and combat. In addition to being possible to infer that people often share fake news not only because they are unaware of reality, but also because they deal with issues that justify their beliefs, support certain causes, among other reasons. Durante a pandemia da Covid-19, presenciamos um rápido e generalizado aumento nos compartilhamentos de informações falsas nas plataformas de redes sociais. Esse excesso de conteúdos falsos ou imprecisos, não só relacionadas à saúde, prevenção e proteção, que destoaram das indicações das organizações de saúde confiáveis, mas também de ordem política e negacionista em relação à imprensa e ciência, certamente levaram a riscos e atrapalharam o combate à doença no período. Em meio à questão, este trabalho teve como objetivo debater sobre o Jornalismo e a desinformação em rede no contexto da pandemia da Covid-19 especialmente no primeiro semestre de 2020. Os principais autores que nortearam este estudo foram Wardle (2017), com seus estudos sobre os tipos de fake news, Aguiar e Roxo (2019) com seus conceitos sobre o termo e Fragoso et. al (2011) em suas colaborações sobre o método netnográfico. O presente estudo realizou uma netnografia em 16 grupos de WhatsApp em Parintins de fevereiro a julho para acompanhar a avalanche de compartilhamentos de mensagens com conteúdos propositalmente enganosos durante o período, tendo em vista que nesses tempos com grande fluxo de informações, essas plataformas carregam todo tipo de conteúdo, chegando a contrapor o tradicional relato jornalístico. Por meio da pesquisa de campo online, foi possível catalogar diversas fake news compartilhadas nesses grupos do município de Parintins-AM. A partir disso, realizou-se uma análise das características das fake news, sendo possível notar muitas semelhanças na abordagem dessas informações pertinentes na sua identificação e combate.
